With EBRD as an SME lending partner, Megabank reports 35 loan agreements as of 16.10.2008 with a total of USD 13 mln. and the loan portfolio is eq. USD 12.2 mln.

It will be recalled that Megabank and EBRD signed September 27, 2007 a USD 20mln. loan agreement with 5-year maturity, USD 12.5 mln to be commited to SME finance and USD 7.5 mln. for microfinance purposes.

Loan terms:

• Loan limit: from USD 250,000 to 750,000
• Repayment period:
  • Up to 1 year (floating assets);
  • Up to 5 years (capital assets)
• Interest rate: from 14% p.a. in USD

Eligible borrower must:

• Be a private sector enterprise;
• Have the staff of below 250 employees;
• Have total trade of the eq. of USD 10 mln. p.a.;
• Have satisfactory structure of equity and borrowed funds and sufficient cash flow to maintain the loan.

Loans can be issued in UAH and EUR.
